About The Job
The qualified candidate will have relationships with federal and state agencies and experience with client relations. The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of local, State, and federal cultural resources regulations and guidelines and be permittable on federal (Bureau of Land Management Cultural Resources Use Permit - CRUP) and Nevada state lands. Primary work will be conducted throughout Nevada, although responsibilities may include projects in California, southern Oregon, and elsewhere. Dudek’s clients include private and public entities, and projects include planning and implementation ventures that range from on-call contracts, private development, energy infrastructure, and transportation, among others.
This position is a remote work position .

Proposed Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000 annually*
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

- Manage relationships with federal and state agencies, ensuring project compliance with local, State, and federal cultural resources regulations.
- Oversee and support cultural resource projects, particularly in Nevada, but also in California, southern Oregon, and other locations as required.
- Coordinate with clients from private and public sectors on project planning and implementation.
- Lead field crews, ensuring work is conducted under physically strenuous conditions and that paperwork is completed accurately.
- Make field decisions and communicate effectively with teams and clients.
- Draft and finalize project documentation, seeing projects through from start to completion.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with client relations and managing relationships with federal and state agencies.
- Working knowledge of cultural resources regulations at the local, State, and federal levels.
- Permittable on federal (Bureau of Land Management Cultural Resources Use Permit - CRUP) and Nevada state lands.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage field crews.
- Experience working under physically demanding conditions.
- Examples of strong writing skills, with the ability to see projects through from start to finish.
- Familiarity with a variety of project types, including on-call contracts, private development, energy infrastructure, and transportation projects.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on projects in Arizona, southeastern Oregon, California and other western states.
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in an outdoor and/or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
- This job requires project site visits which are based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.
- This job may require working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.
- This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with government agency representatives, members of the public, and others. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Outdoor activity may involve walking/trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.
